Your Morpheus8 appointment will last about 60 to 90 minutes, which includes time for applying numbing cream and performing the procedure.
Visible results can be seen within a few days, but typically after three weeks the most noticeable results appear. Improvements continue up to three months after treatment.
The results of a Morpheus8 face and neck treatment can last up to a year or more, depending on your skin type, aging process, and skincare routine. Typically, our patients see continued improvement for several months following the treatment as collagen production increases.
For long-lasting results, we recommend maintenance treatments every 12 to 18 months. For noticeable signs of aging, we find our patients optimize their results with a series of three treatments done 4-6 weeks apart.
Yes! We highly recommend the Skin Genius Line Erase IQ Needle-Free Serum to help prevent new wrinkles and fine lines as well as Hydra-Boost IQ Collagen Booster, Age Reversal Moisturizer IQ and Defend IQ Intensive Recovery Cream.
You should be using sunscreen daily, whether you have treated your face or not. We recommend either the Skin Genius Protect 44 or Drenched Protect 40. Protect 44 is water resistant and has a sheer, universal tint beneficial for most skin types. Protect 40 contains hyaluronic acid and is great for post-procedure and sensitive skin.
Our patients experience mild discomfort during this treatment. We apply a topical numbing cream before the procedure to minimize any pain. While you may feel some pressure or a slight pinching sensation from the microneedling and radiofrequency energy, the discomfort is usually tolerable. We also offer Pronox for a completely pain-free experience.
After the procedure, you might experience some redness, swelling, or tenderness, but these side effects typically subside within 24-48 hours. Normal activities can be resumed the next day.
Before a Morpheus8 face and neck treatment, it’s important to take a few preparatory steps. Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least a week to reduce the risk of skin sensitivity. Discontinue the use of retinol, acids, or strong skincare products a few days prior to the appointment. Staying well-hydrated in the days leading up to the treatment is also beneficial for your skin. Additionally, it’s recommended to avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications like aspirin a few days before the procedure to minimize the chance of bruising.
Downtime is minimal with this treatment. You should expect to see micro lesions a few days after your treatment and slight redness for up to 48 hours. Makeup can be applied one to two days after the treatment and normal activities can be resumed the next day.
