Laser Hair Removal appointments are pretty quick. An extra small area, like the upper lip, takes about 5 minutes while a larger area (such as half legs) may take up to an hour.
On average, our patients experience 20-30% less regrowth after each treatment and a gradual decrease in hair thickness with an overall hair reduction of 80-90%. While laser hair removal is a permanent hair reduction, hormonal changes can trigger regrowth, which can usually be taken care of with a quick touch-up.
We sell a package of six for ultimate results.
Worried about pain? Don’t stress! This treatment is quick and most patients say they feel a little heat and tenderness, but nothing they can’t handle. If you find it uncomfortable, we always offer Pronox!
Every patient is different, but most people need 10-12 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
Laser hair removal is perfect for skin types 1-4 on the Fitzpatrick scale. Laser hair removal is not effective in areas where the hair is blonde, red, grey, or thin.
Unlike prep for waxing treatments, we want you to get a close shave the night before or the morning of your appointment. Too much growth above the skin can increase your chances of burning. The area being treated needs to be out of the sun for a week before (and after) their treatment. Self-tanning products (spray tan, gradual tanning lotions, etc.) cannot be applied to the treatment area two weeks before your appointment.
Photosensitizing medications, like antibiotics, cannot be taken 2 weeks before your treatment.
If we are treating your face, you must discontinue active ingredients like retinol and topical acne products 3 days before your treatment. If you have been on Accutane, you need to wait 6 months before being treated.
Nope! You can return to normal activity almost immediately.
