Your Morpheus8 appointment will last at least 90 minutes, which includes time for applying numbing cream and performing the procedure.
The results of a Morpheus8 body contouring treatment can last up to a year or more, depending on your skin type, aging process, and skincare routine. Typically, our patients see continued improvement for several months following the treatment as collagen production increases. For long-lasting results, we recommend maintenance treatments every 12 to 18 months—we find our patients optimize their results with a series of three treatments.
Our patients experience mild discomfort during this treatment. We apply a topical numbing cream before the procedure to minimize any pain. While you may feel some pressure or a slight pinching sensation from the microneedling and radiofrequency energy, the discomfort is usually tolerable. We also offer Pronox for a completely pain-free experience.
After the procedure, you might experience some redness, swelling, or tenderness, but these side effects typically subside within a few days.
We recommend using the Skin Genius Defend IQ Intensive Recovery Cream to help speed up your healing process.
Our patients typically see optimal results after a series of three sessions. However, you can always upgrade or downgrade your sessions after meeting with our estheticians.
We recommend scheduling your sessions about 4-6 weeks apart.
Before a Morpheus8 body contouring treatment, it’s important to take a few preparatory steps. Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least a week to reduce the risk of skin sensitivity. Discontinue the use of retinol, acids, or strong skincare products a few days prior to the appointment. Staying well-hydrated in the days leading up to the treatment is also beneficial for your skin. Additionally, it’s recommended to avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications like aspirin a few days before the procedure to minimize the chance of bruising.
Downtime is minimal with this treatment. You should should expect to see micro lesions a few days after your treatment and slight redness for up to one week.
